HILL, Gerald Daniel ("Gerry") - After a courageous battle with cancer, Gerry passed away at the General Hospital on Sunday July 18, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Oliver). Loving and devoted father of Jeff, Cathy Chiarello and John. Grandfather to Burgandy Hill , Rachel, Kassandra and Carmine Chiarello, Mathew, Curtis and Jesse Hill. In God's grace, Gerry joined his parents Mary and Bill Hill, brother Jackie, son- in- law Ralph Chiarello and grand daughter Julie Marie Hill. Gerry will be sadly missed by his brother Donald Hill (Mary), and sisters Sharon Kidd (Ron) and Heather Oliver (Mark). Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters in law Maureen Pyke, Faith Currie (Bill), David Oliver, Susan Lampi (Gary), Ann Finn (Mike), Mike Oliver, Evan Zapacosta and several nieces and nephews. Gerry was a strong, courageous, innovative and loving man. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Tuesday July 27, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
