Obituary of Floyd Edwards

EDWARDS, Floyd - With sadness and thanksgiving, we announce the passing of Floyd Henry Edwards at the age of 78. Floyd passed from this life into the next in the loving arms of his family on October 3, 2010 at A.R.C.H. in Sault Ste. Marie. Beloved husband of Winnie Edwards. Father of Mark (Cheryl), Jennifer (Sandy) and Heather (Chris). Much loved Grandpa of Matthew, Jordan and Lauren. Great grandpa of Bianca. Brother of Chester (Dee), Harold (Pat), Erlyne (Paul), Don (Nancy), Mary (late Skip), Joan, Margaret (Jack), Sharon (Alex). Predeceased by his parents G.A. and Ada Edwards and siblings Gladys (Bob), Bert (Ruby). Warmly remembered by his many brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Floyd was hospitalized December 24, 2009. He courageously battled multiple myeloma, neuropathy and kidney failure. Heartfelt thanks to Doctors Spadafora, Berry and Shafiee and all the staff and volunteers who cared for Floyd along his journey. Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Floyd's Life at COMMUNITY OF CHRIST, 585 McNabb Street on Thursday, October 7th, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
