Obituary of Maria Cavaliere

Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband Carmine. Loving mother of Lena Porco (Frank), Domenic (Anna), Matthew (Anna) and Franca Porco (Dan). Cherished Nanna of Carmen (Laurie), Frank (Dayna), Maryann (Sonny), Christopher (Maria), Diana Grandinetti (Adrian), Mark (Lora), Sara (Matt), Luca, Ava, and Lila. Great Nanna of Domenic, Nicholas, Abigail, Jakie, Matteo, Milania, Connor and Olivia. Dear sister of Carmela Giordano and the late Ada Giordano of Italy. Maria will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Veronica’s Church on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
