Obituary of Todd Burden

It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Todd at home on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the age of 54. Loving husband of Sylvia for 26 years. Dearly loved father of Crystal Bossio (Tim Vine), Zachary Burden (Candace Chun) and Dillan Burden (Jennifer Crouthers). Cherished grandfather of Lila and Lucas Burden. Predeceased by his parents Wes Burden and Beryl Burden (nee Pierce). Brother of Dale (Marsha), Shelley Burden and Kerry (Moira). Brother-in-law of Nancy Jamieson, Kathryn Goodmurphy, Mike (Deb), Steven (Barb), Janet Goodmurphy (Gary), Merry Willison (Al), Shari Yates (Bill), Stanley (Caroline), Tony and Chris (Lynn). Todd will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and his colleagues at Great Lakes Power. He had a passion for safety in and out of the workplace and enjoyed his time spent on the health and safety committee at work. His large scope of friends will miss the great times they had while at Agnew lake. Todd will be remembered for his great love of fishing and hunting. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, January 10, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
