Obituary of Vincenzo Plastino

Passed away peacefully, with family by his side at the F.J. Davey Home on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the age of 86. Dearly loved husband of Lisa Plastino (Cesario) for 60 years. Cherished father of Anthony Plastino (Belen), Franc Plastino (Alexandria) and Mary Belec (Brian). Loving Nonno of Francesca, Stephanie, late Nicholas, Noah, Makayla and Joel. Born in Cleto, Cosenza, Italy to the late Fortunato and late Angela Plastino. Dear brother of the late Marzia Trunzo (Mario), late Luigi Plastino (Lena), Guerino Plastino (Gina) and the late Mario Plastino (Clara). Vince will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He was a man who always wore a smile and treasured his grandchildren. Vince had a green thumb, as we all witnessed through his passion for gardening. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the F.J. Davey Home Walkway to Health would be appreciated by the family.
