Obituary of Ortenzio Vecchio

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the F.J. Davey Home on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the age of 95. Ortenzio is now reunited with his loving wife Mafalda. Cherished and devoted father of Toni, Helen Gagnon (Don), Gina MacKenzie (Glen) ,Mary Cobean (Richard) and Franca Lunelli (Tony), who was always thought of as a daughter. Adored grandfather of Derek MacKenzie (Amy), Kelly Nyberg (Clint), Nicole (Joe Luxton) and Michael Gagnon, Rachel and Kaitlin (Luke) Cobean. Great grandfather of Cameron, Gunner, Christian, Cole, Alexi, William and Seth. Ortenzio will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and the Vecchio family. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 1:00 P.M. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the F.J. Davey Home Residents Council or the SAH- Renal Dialysis Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
