Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the age of 68. Loving wife of Rick Ferris. Dear mother of Steve Rutledge (Julie) and Richard Rutledge. Step-mother of Jean Collins (Pat), Bob Ferris (Jennifer) and Damon Ferris (Maddelana). Cherished Grandma of Tyler, Chayse, Jena, Brianna and Chadd (Amanda). Predeceased by her parents Arvo and Sylvia Pyymaki and her siblings Timo, Tuovi and Taavi. Special aunt to Tina, Cindy, Jana, Colin, Tomi, Mark, David, Lisa and many more. Tarja will be missed by her many friends and extended family. A Celebration of Tarja Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
