Obituary of James Callwood Buchan

It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of Jim at the F.J. Davey Home, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Husband and best friend of the late Donna for 60 years. Unwavering, supportive father of Tom (Sue), late Karen, Frank (Mary Anne), Jimmie (Libby), Nancie Scott (Jim), late Kevin and Paula Guertin (Paul). Admired Grandpa of Gregg, Doug, Jordie, Jeff (Lindsey), Tabatha (Andre), Ryan (Caitlin), Gary (Alyssa), Jesse (Cortney), Shane, Samantha and Courtney.  Shared the love for the outdoors with his grandchildren and always was there with a helping hand. Fun loving and loved great grandfather of Alexis, Jackson and Ava Knox, Alex and Nic Kennepohl and Jenna, Brooklyn and Emily Scott. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Louise Buchan.  Brother of the late Edgar (late Bernice).  Brother-in-law of David and Ursula Conway and the late Frank and Elaine Conway. Jim is fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A come and go celebrating the lives of Jim and Donna will be held at Sandro’s Banquet Room on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Words cannot express our family’s gratitude to the staff of the F.J. Davey Home 3rd floor Cedar Grove.  

We’ve lost in 10 weeks, the best parents, grandparents, role models and friends that children, grandchildren could ask for.  Always will be in our hearts.  Love you both!
