APOSTLE, Zina Mary- Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the F.J. Davey Home on Saturday, October 14, 2017.  Zina is now reunited with her beloved husband and best friend of 61 years, Nicholas (2010). Loving mother of Vivian (Bob Graham), Peter  (Carrie Hughes), Nicholas James (Karen Butcher), and Myra (Jeff Mitchell). Wonderful Nonna to 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sister to late Guido Bordin (Theresa), Reno Bordin (Isabel), Anita Bordin (late Italo Casagrande), Joe Bordin (Gloria), Dennis Bordin (Christine).  Sister-in-law to late Peter Apostle (late Pauline), late Mary Bellinger (late Speed), late Helen Peterman (late Gilbert).  She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Zina was one of seven women to graduate from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in 1947. She nursed at both the General and Plummer Hospitals.  A private family service to celebrate Zina’s life was held, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff at the F.J. Davey Home for their support and care of our dear Mom over the years.
