My condolences to Mike's family. I had the privilege of working with Mike during his last year at the Fisheries and Oceans and had remained in contact intermittently over the years. He was wonderful person to know and I am truly saddened by his passing. Just know he influenced a young person at the time and will always remain in my heart.

To Mike’s Family and Friends, Mike’s front porch on Mark Street will not be the same without him. He took great pride in making it comfortable while welcoming neighbours and passers-by with his cheery greetings. We will all miss our good conversations and ‘tasty treats’.
