Obituary of James Watkins

Watkins, James Wellington It is with great sadness that the family of James Watkins announces his passing in Sault Ste Marie, September 13, 2010. Beloved father of Phil (Cathy) Watkins and James (Sue-Anne) Watkins and their mother Nancy. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Julia, Colin and the late William Ross Watkins, and Morgan and Garrett, and many nieces and nephews. Brother to Bill (Marjorie) Watkins, Claudette (Andre) Verreault, late Eunice (John) Wooten, late John Watkins, Linda Scanlon, late Pat (Dan) King, late Richard Watkins, Robert Watkins, and Sylvia (Guy) Lefebvre. Half brother to Toni Vigneault and Gloria. Fondly remembered stepfather to Nancy, Christian and (the late Marc) and their mother Ginette. Fondly remembered by Dan (Shannon) French and their mother Paulette and the French family. Remembered by his friends in the communities of Pancake Bay, Batchawana Bay and the Sault. James will be remembered for his kindness, his smile, his warm heart and his passion for the great outdoors. The beauty of this world is no better represented than in the wilds of northern Ontario around Pancake Pay, and he enjoyed much of his free time along its streams, rivers, lakes and in its woodlands. Memorial Service to be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Center (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758). Visitation at 12:00pm until the service at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers would be welcome to the World Wild Life Fund or Ducks Unlimited.
