Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" DiPasquale (King)

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly loved sister Betty, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the age of 76. With her family by her side, she peacefully slipped away at the Sault Area Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Lawrence DiPasquale and Angeline DiPasquale-King, brothers Bob DiPasquale, Larry DiPasquale and Gary King, sisters Marie Raymond (late Wayne), Margie MacIntyre (late Ken), Marlene Rouleau (late Jeff) and Ruby Evoy (late Darcy). Much loved and respected sister of Doreen Collins (late Andy), Angela Blake (Ron), Joe DiPasquale (Linda), Jim DiPasquale (Lucy), Butch King (Shirley), Audrey Comeau (Stephen), Ross King (Helen), Harold King (Lisa) and Bunny Pateman (Larry). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of Doris Belanger. Betty worked for many years at the Sault Star as the secretary to the publisher. She saw many come and go but she remained the constant. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 12:00 pm until time of the service in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Paul Conway officiating. Interment at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare Maple View, Fourth Floor, Lake Superior for the loving care shown to our sister Betty over the past three years.
