Obituary of George Paci

Please share a memory of George to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear George, at home on Thursday, July 5, 2018 in his 62nd year. Predeceased by his parents Luigi Paci (2012) and Dorina Paci (2017). He was a devoted son and made many personal sacrifices to care for his parents in their later years. He was the cherished brother of Frank (Christine) and Rosanne and the most loving uncle of Mark and Sarah. He was strong, intelligent, selfless, thoughtful and had a fun-loving sense of humor. In short, George was the greatest and he will be so missed. It was too soon for him to leave us. We’ll miss our Sunday suppers, our quiet talks, our drives around the city, our ice cream outings, our champagne Christmases and we’ll miss his warm and loving smile. He will be forever in our hearts. George enjoyed playing golf for many years and then took up cycling with a passion. He would often remark that he put more miles on his bike than on his car. He religiously did the New York Times crossword puzzles every day. He could design, maintain, and repair almost anything, a very handy guy to have around. At George's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, A.R.C.H. or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
