Obituary of Giuseppina Paciocco

Peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family, at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, April 7, 2025 at the age of 81. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Roberto. Adored mother of Giovanni of B.C. and Lisa Coccimiglio (Rick) of Sault Ste. Marie. Proud Nonna of Giuseppina, Maria Anna (Mike) and Ada Carmela. Predeceased by her parents Carmine and Anna Lepore. Sister of the late Nina Serrao (Foca), late Lorenzo Lepore (late Carmela) and the late Giuseppe Lepore (late Chicchina) of Italy. Daughter-in-law of the late Giovanni and the late Ada Paciocco. Sister-in-law of the late Fiorindo (late Concetta) of Italy, Flavio of Michigan, Finesia (late Manturino) of Italy and Vitaliano (Cristina) of Italy. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Giuseppina was a woman of principle who was compassionate and loving to all.  Over the years, her door was open, and the table was set for countless gatherings, which always included beautiful meals and desserts, great conversations, and many laughs. Her greatest pride and joy were her beautiful granddaughters. She taught them so much from the ABCs and 123s to the more important life lessons. She helped shape them into the fine young women they are today. 

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard Majella Church at 12:00 noon with Father Charles Abiamiri officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Sault Area Hospital especially in Emerg and 3C for the exceptional care and attention given to Giuseppina and our family.
