Obituary of Elvi Tyynela

Peacefully passed away at the FJ Davey Home on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the age of 95. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Raymond, daughter Susan and son Andrew “Andy”. Loved mother and friend of Ron (Jennifer Miskiw). Proud grandmother of Josh Tyynela, Madison Tyynela and Kaege Spin.

Friends and family are invited to visit in the Lower Lounge at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA) would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to the FJ Davey Home for the care and compassion given to Elvi.
