Obituary of Christine Ross

Peacefully passed away at home on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the age of 63. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Shawn. Loved mother of Mike DiPasquale (Desirée). Predeceased by her parents Delores and Raymond King. Sister of David King and predeceased by Raymond King Jr., Eddy King and Gloria Lormiar.

She will be fondly remembered by her extended family Camillo DiPasquale (Concetta), Rosanna Alexander (Duncan), late Ellen Carley (William) and her many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Gladys Haines and sister of Joe Haines, Peter Haines and the late Jean Wilkes.

Christine loved cooking—nourishing others with meals made from the heart. She had a deep passion for taking care of people, always ready with a warm plate, a helping hand, or a listening ear. Her heart belonged to the outdoors, where she found joy in fishing, camping, and hunting. Whether it was the quiet stillness of a forest morning or the thrill of a line tugging in the water, Christine cherished every moment spent in nature.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in the Lower Lounge at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH), Tracy's Dream, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
