Obituary of Sandra Kenny

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of Sandra, with her family by her side at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, August 4, 2025 in her 75^th year. Loving wife of Paul for 54 years. Devoted mother and friend of Tanya Trembath (Steve), Tara Thibodeau (Lisa Verdoni) and Travis (Christina). Beloved Grammy of Averi and Martin Thibodeau, Griffin Trembath, Brooke and Braedon Kenny. Daughter of the late Roy and Gloria Kitts. Sister of Darlene Hopf (Daryl). Special Auntie of Ashley (Jessica) and their children Taylor, Jordyn and Linden and Amber (Kyle) and their children Chloe and Nash. She will be remembered by her many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Nolan, Kitts and Kenny families. Sandra will be missed by her close knit and trusted friends Barb, Norma and Maureen. She will be fondly remembered by Guy Thibodeau.

A sacred fire honouring Sandra has been lit and will continue to burn until Friday morning with a feast at noon. Anyone wishing to pay their respects are invited to 15 Parkelane Court anytime, day or night to sit with family and fire keepers.

A Come & Go Celebration of Sandra’s life will take place at 15 Parkelane Court on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from Noon until 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the SAH Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

A heartfelt thank you to the Paramedics, Emergency Department staff and the staff on 3C at the Sault Area Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion given to Sandra and her family.
