Obituary of Patricia O'Neil

Peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children Sheryll MacWilliam, Genevieve MacWilliam-Teare (David), Victoria Poliquin (Mario) and Bobbi-Lynn Pallot (Dan), her loving grandchildren Cody Ryan, Virginia Fuller, Kristopher Poliquin (Celine), Alan Poliquin, Megan Pallot and Matthew Pallot, as well as her 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great grandchildren. Sister of Mike O’Neil and Aunt of Patrick O’Neil.

She is now reunited with her loved ones on the other side, her parents Gordon and Victoria (Tootsie) O’Neil, son Michael Toye, grandson Brandon Bennett, sister-in-law Line O’Neil, nephew Sean O’Neil, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Merryfield Room (96 Great Northern Rd) on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to lifelong friends Shirley and Lawrence, cousins Wanda, Gerry, Richard and Aunt Marguerite for the up-lifting visits, calls, and texts.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Booth, Bayshore Nurses and PSWs for the wonderful care and compassion provided. A special thank you to family friend and Nurse Kim Timmerman for her kindness, care and support, you made mom’s day easier.
