Obituary of Mary Sullivan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 in her 92^nd year.  She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband and friend for over 70 years, Russell. Cherished mother of Pamela Sullivan-Daniszewski (Hank), Patrick Sullivan (Debbie), Judy Felix (Allister) and Susan Halucha (Paul). Mary was the devoted grandmother of Crystal Felix, Candice Strachan, Dana Beaulieu, Meghan Halucha, Sophie Halucha and Ryan Daniszewski. Great Grandmother of Hunter, Ryder, Logan, Shane, Elijah, Zarah, Winter, Noah, Sadie and Wheeler.  Loving sister of Jack White (Darlene) and the late Alice White.  

Mary was a woman of grace, strength and unwavering love. A highly respected teacher for thirty years, her kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.  Mary cherished family above all else, and her love for her grandchildren was boundless.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 12:00 noon with Father Hamish Currie officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated.
