Obituary of Darlene Ramakers

It is with deep sorrow we announce that Darlene has fallen asleep in death, with her daughter by her side, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 83 years, from pancreatic cancer. Loving wife of the late Willy. Beloved mother of the late John David (Katherine) and Lori May (Scott). Deeply loved grandmother of Luke, Jake and Amy May and Malayna Ramakers. Daughter of the late George and the late Thelma Bock. Loved sister and best friend of Gary Bock (Michele). Dear aunt of Alyson Turco (Travis), Jason Bock (Cresta) and Jeff Bock (Melissa). Special great aunt of Nick and Megan Turco and Emerson and Mckenna Bock. Daughter-in-law of the late Frank and the late Anna Ramakers. Sister-in-law of Jo Ramakers (Marijke). Dear aunt of Michael Ramakers (Nicole), Ronald Ramakers and Susan Alexander (Stephen).

We would like to thank everyone who has been part of our mom’s life for their loving kindness and care. You touched her heart and your thoughtfulness meant so much to her. A special thank you to Dr. Spadafora, Dr. Booth, Dr. Buehner, Lisa from Bayshore, the SAH nurses on 3B, the staff at ARCH and neighbours Aldo & Lynda Lepore and Serg & Tammy Bernardo for all their help through the years.

In keeping with mom’s wish, a private family gathering was held with a graveside service.
