Obituary of Jean Jensen

It is with profound sadness the family of Jean Jensen (nee Crockford) announce her passing on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the age of 92.

Reunited with her loving husband Karl-Egon and long-time best friend of 60 years, Henning Christiansen. Survived by her children, Alex (Heather) of Cranbrook BC, Steen (Bev) of Bracebridge ON, Laura of Sault Ste. Marie ON, Karl Jr (Monica) of Sault Ste. Marie ON and Lifa (Darryl) of Virgil ON.  Grandmother to Dana (Wenshu), Jesse, Meghan (Jeff), Brittany, Nicholas (Eden), Nathan (Nadine), Monique (Aaron), Chantelle (Jeff), Travis (Jessica) and Kelsey (Pat). Great Grandmother to Sofie, Astrid, Owen, Isaac, Abigail, Elliott, Maiya, Naveen, Nora, Ella, Brielle, Jakob, Bentley, Macy-Anne, Lucas, Maxwell, Jace and Aria.

She will be fondly remembered by her family in England and Denmark.

We would like to thank the staff on Cedar Grove 1 at the FJ Davey Home for taking care of our precious mother.

Respecting Jean’s wishes there will be no visitation or service, cremation has already taken place. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
