Obituary of Alfredo Rodrigues

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alfredo who departed peacefully surrounded by his beloved family on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Sault Area Hospital at the age of 78. Devoted husband of Albertina, sharing 54 wonderful years of marriage. He was a proud and loving father to Joe (Nicole), Silvia (Darren), and Carlos (Maria). Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Alex, Matthew, and Katie. He is also remembered fondly by his brothers Jose (Adelaide) and Fernando, and is predeceased by his sisters Irene and Alice, and brother Adao. He will be deeply missed by his nephews, niece, extended family, and many dear friends.

Alfredo’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A private family graveside service has been held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
