Obituary of S. Margaret Klosowicz

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the age of 65. She was the beloved daughter of Stella and the late Jan (John) Klosowicz, and a cherished sister to Krystyna and Jean Klosowicz. Margaret was a proud aunt to Brandon Gough (Laura Agnew) and Ryan Gough (Teagan Lauzon), and a great-aunt to Ellie (late), Kacey, Ryker, and Jon. 

Margaret dedicated her life to teaching, guiding countless elementary students across Ontario with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm. Her passion for lifelong learning was evident in her mastery of French as a third language, a gift she shared joyfully with her students. She found joy in travelling, music, and art, and her strong Catholic faith was an important part of her life wherever she lived and taught. Margaret will be remembered for her warm sense of humour, her easygoing nature, her bright smile and laughter, and her adventurous spirit before illness touched her life. Her family is deeply grateful for the love and friendship she shared with so many.

A private Memorial Mass has taken place at Precious Blood Cathedral, followed by inurnment at Cloudslee Cemetery in Bruce Mines, Ontario. Margaret’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, colleagues, and students whose lives she touched.
