Obituary of Carole Jean Charlebois
Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in her 87th year at Mauno Kaihla Koti. Devoted Pastor’s wife of Edward. Dear mother of Janice (Ed) and Bruce (Suzanne). Loving grandmother of Ryan, Mitchell and Andrea. Her grandkids meant the world to her. We take great comfort knowing she is now reunited with her parents William McLean and Isabel (Alvin Van Luven) and her sisters Barbara, Elizabeth, Arlene and Helen.
Carole had a deep love for Women’s Ministries and was always eager to lend a helping hand at church events. Her home was a welcoming haven, where she delighted in hosting friends and family with warmth and grace. She found joy in scenic drives to St. Joseph Island and along the beautiful Sylvan Valley Circle Tour. A true people person, Carole was known for her cheerful chats and could spend hours catching up with friends over the phone. Upon her return from Windsor, she took excellent care of her mother, Isabel.
Heather Collins was like a sister to Carole and a best friend. She was beside her during illness and good health. The family gives a heartfelt thank you to all MKK staff for the kindness and support shown throughout Carole’s stay and her last days. Carole was always treated like a Queen at MKK by all staff.
