Obituary of Barbara Barron
Passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Sault Area Hospital in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Fred Armour Barron in February of 2020. She will be greatly missed by her son, Lee Barron, daughter Susan Minor and son-in-law Mark Minor.
Barbara graduated from the Brantford General Hospital School of Nursing in 1954 as a Registered Nurse. She worked at the Plummer Memorial Hospital for many years. She loved animals, nature, classic movies, music and sewing.
At the family’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
May she rest in peace.
