Obituary of Henry Palahnuk

PALAHNUK, Andrew “Henry” – Passed away quietly in his sleep on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Sharon (McMillan) for 60 years. Father of Hank, Barbara (John) and Danny (Kim). Grandfather of Lucas and Tristan. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Katherine Palahnuk. Brother of the late George (late Mary), late Paul (late Anne), late Anne (Bob), late Steve (Janet), Peter (Sandra), late Wilma (Glen) and Frank (Mavis). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Henry had a great deal of friends that he kept in touch with over the years. He was a true “car guy” and drove his ’31 Ford model daily, pulling the Rotary float in many parades.

A “Come & Go” Celebration of Henry’s life will take place in the Lower Lounge at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Sick Kids Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
