Obituary of Rudolph Andrew Starzomski

STARZOMSKI, Rudolph Andrew “Rudy” - It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rudy with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 84. Loving husband of Louise (née Sunday). Father of Patti (Allen), Andy (Mary), Bob (Jeannette), and Tari (Mark). Grandfather of Andrea (Chris), Amy (Joel), Olivia, Michael, Melissa (Neil), Kaitlyn, Ciarra (Cody), Drake (Lexie), Darian (Tiah), Alexandra (Nico), and Steven (Emily), and great-grandfather of Olivier, Eloise, Audrie, Arlen, Landon, Gunner, Nathan, Kamryn, and Sophia. Brother of the late Edward (Sylvia) and Theresa (Ted). Dear uncle of Ian (Christine), Lori-Anna (Brad), and Christine (Chris).

A private family interment service will take place. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Rudy’s life at 102 Superior Drive on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Renal Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Thank you to the medical team at the Sault Area Hospital who took such good care of Rudy. A heartfelt thank you to the many doctors - too many to name - who oversaw his care over the years. To the wonderful nurses who were a part of his dialysis team, you meant so very much to him. A special thank you to the nurses on 3C and the palliative care team who supported Rudy and the family through to the end.
