Obituary of Don Holley

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and family, after a brave and hard-fought journey. Don was a devoted husband, beloved son, brother, and a loyal friend to many. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, quiet strength, and the genuine way he connected with those around him.

Don is lovingly survived by his wife, Joan Holley; his parents, Donald and Carole Holley; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Toni Holley, niece, Lauren Holley; and his sister and brother-in-law, Kerri Holley and Jean-Guy Francoeur. He will also be deeply missed by extended family, friends, colleagues, and those whose lives he touched.

Music was Don’s true passion. It brought him joy, comfort, and expression throughout his life, and it was often the way he shared himself most fully with the world. Those who knew him best will remember how deeply music was woven into who he was. His passion for teaching shone through with his many students, taking great care and pride in their success.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the healthcare team at Sault Area Hospital for their compassion, dedication, and care.

Don is now at peace, in the loving presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
