Obituary of Joan Marie Oknianski
Peacefully in her 95th year, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Ontario Finnish Resthome. Predeceased by her husband Walter Oknianski, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Mother of Michael Oknianski (Carolyn). Grandmother of Tanner Oknianski (Chanelle) and Caylee Oknianski. Great Grandmother of Rowen, Madelyn, and Brynn.
Joan had been an avid golfer, was a curler, cross-country skier, and a member of the Sault Ste. Marie River Boat Club (1948). She also enjoyed watching all sports on television, especially Tennis.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
