Obituary of Bryan Doncaster

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bryan at the FJ Davey Home on Friday, January 9, 2026.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Bonnie. Fondly remembered his stepchildren Annette Morrison, Carrie Rogers, and Ricky Rogers. Bryan will live on through his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, especially his grandson Austen who Bryan thought of as his own son and his great nephew Dylan Foster who always brought a smile to his face. Beloved son to the late Earl and Norma Doncaster. Forever remembered by his sister Sherry Ryan (Mike) and predeceased by his brother John Doncaster and his sister Jackie Farrel.

Bryan was in the Canadian Armed Forces from April 1971 until the time of his honourary discharge in 1975.

Bryan was a gentle and loving man in every word and action he showed his loving emotion. Bryan had a special love for his Montreal Canadians and curling.

At Bryan’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District would be appreciated. The family would like to thank all the staff at the FJ Davey Home for the compassion and exceptional care they gave Bryan. They were truly a blessing. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
