Obituary of Kenneth "Ralph" Madill

At Extendicare Maple View on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the age of 81.

Guided by his faith in God and sustained by his enduring sense of humour, Ralph moved through life with quiet strength. We find comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved parents, Kenneth and Katherine, and with his dear siblings and their spouses who predeceased him: Anita, Lois (David), and Donald (Christine).

Ralph will be remembered by his sister Marie (Keith), whose loving and devoted care was a true blessing in his life. He leaves behind his three daughters, Julie (Jake), Jen (Jason), and Kim (John), and his cherished grandchildren Bailey, Lena, Cameron, and Avery, along with many nieces and nephews who will carry forward their own special memories of him.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff at Extendicare Maple View and Pathways Retirement Residence for their care and support.

The family will gather privately to celebrate Ralph’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District support programs in Ralph’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
