Obituary of Rachela Pucci

It is with great sadness that the family of Rachela Pucci announces her passing on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the age of 87.

She was a loving mother to Marisa Marandola (Elio), Sandra Ianni (Frank “Chico”), John Policicchio (Josie), Mark Policicchio (Lisa), and Maria Precepa (Bill). Her favourite role was being a Nana to Christina Consoli (Deni), Justin Marandola (Karrah), Jordan Policicchio (Deanna), Jordan and Nella Policicchio, Kaylie and Taylor Precepa. She was a proud great Nana to Everly, Beau, and Summer Marandola and Nico Consoli. Daughter of the late Camillo and the late Filomena Pucci. Sister of the late Antonio Pucci (Maria), Oreste Pucci (Matilda), late Constantino Pucci (Lina) and the late Gino Pucci (late Lina). Loving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. 

Special thank you to the doctors and wonderful nurses in the Sault Area Hospital Intensive Care Unit especially Mac, Breanna and Sam.

A private family ceremony was held to honour Rachela’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
