Obituary of Joanne Sharpe

On April 4, 2026, my beloved wife, Joanne passed away leaving behind a lifetime of love and memories that will never be forgotten. She was my partner, my best friend and the most beautiful soul I have ever known.

Wife and best friend of Greg for 44 years. Mother of Kelly Gil and stepmother of Paul Sharpe. Bubba of Kyra Blake. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Margaret Smith. Special friend of Jane Sharpe (George) and April.

At Joanne’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Dr. Berry, Dr. Kendall and Dr. Apostle for the great care given to Joanne. A very special thank you to the nurses Sierra, Jodie, Lyvia for the care and compassion given to Joanne over the years. We will always appreciate you. Also, a heartfelt thank you to Melena, one of the PSWs and Melissa. The most special thank you goes to Nancy, who became a very special part of our lives. I cannot thank her enough for her care, compassion and friendship.

Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). 

She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
