Obituary of Caleb Foster
Born November 18, 2002, Caleb was tragically stolen from his family on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the age of 23.
Caleb was the beloved son of Stephen Forrest Edgar Foster (Janet Walker) and April Foster (nee Hachey). He was the very much-loved big brother of Aaron Foster (Kennedy Chillman) and Dylan Foster (mother Kari Johnson). Cherished grandson of Forrest Everett and Linda Jane Foster (Crowder) and Cleo Robina Haimerl (Cambridge) and Grammy “Long Drive” Carol Hachey (Warren). Predeceased by his special Grandpa “Long Drive” Henry Joseph Robert Hachey and Grandpa Robert Josef Haimerl. Beloved nephew of Rebecca and Shawn Cyr, Gregory Robert Hachey (Ami Stewart) and adored by his cousins Neveah and Hope Cyr.
Caleb was also very lucky to have been loved by two wonderful women during his far too short life, and more loyal friends than could ever be named.
Caleb had a great sense of humour and kept everyone on their toes. He was the life of the party. He was known for inviting friends over to Casey’s garage to “help” only for them to do the work while he sat back, watched, and kept everyone entertained as there wasn’t a dull moment when Caleb was around. Those moments, full of laughter, are memories his family and friends will cherish forever.
Though his life was taken far too soon, Caleb’s memory, laughter, and those around him will remain in the hearts of all who knew him forever.
The family would like to recognize all the doctors and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital ER & ICU unit, especially Dr. Costain, Dr. Landry, Dr. Curran, Dr. Reich and Dr. Shafiee as well as Brigitte Vaughan (RN ET) who worked endlessly with Caleb. Their compassion and unwavering support will not be forgotten and we are forever grateful for what they did for Caleb.
