Obituary of William Brent Edward Roberts

ROBERTS, William Brent Edward - With sad hearts we announce the passing of Brent. Devoted husband to Jennifer (nee Conway). Loving father of Elsie, Tom, Shawn and loving stepfather to Greg McLarty (Jennifer), Laura Janine Frier (Dave), Cathy Galbraith (Ross). Proud grandfather of Sarah, Kevin, Nolan, Hannah, Zack, Mia, Seth, Tyson and Cassandra. Brother of Wanda Mitchell (Mitch) and Brenda Strachan (late Ron). Predeceased by his parents Jean (nee Boston) and Arnold Roberts, brother Wayne, sister Penny King (late Marvin). Brent will also be missed by his nieces and nephews; Craig, Lorrie, Brad, Jason, Justin and Matthew.

Brent will be remembered for his love of canoeing, hunting, and working on vehicles and projects in his garage. He was also a beloved bus driver on the Bruce Peninsula after he retired from management of school buses at First Student in Goderich and Stratford.

As per Brent’s wishes, no funeral service will be held and cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be greatly appreciated by the family.

A heartfelt thank you to the Bay Shore nurses, Nurse Practitioner Natalie Goodship, the Cancer Clinic at Sault Area Hospital and ARCH for the care and compassion given to Brent and his family.
