Obituary of Gordon Woods

Todd was tragically taken from us in an accidental house fire on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in his 48^th year. Predeceased by both parents, Linda and Bob Woods. Todd will be deeply missed by his beloved son, Ryker, brothers Derek Woods and Brent Woods (Priscilla), and nephew Cam. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family members and friends.

Todd was known for his quiet strength and kind heart. He enjoyed spending time fishing and appreciated the simple moments spent outdoors. Throughout his working years, Todd was employed with True North Timber and Borden Lake Gold Mine (Meglab). He was known as a hardworking and dependable employee. Todd touched the lives of many and will be remembered for the memories he created with those who knew him and loved him.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 5 (Chapleau) on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Chapleau Minor Hockey Association (etransfer donation to cmhahuskies@outlook.com) are greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the Chapleau Volunteer Fire Department and the Chapleau and Wawa OPP detachment.
