Obituary of Angela Spadafora

Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Our Mom’s work and sacrifice is now complete and she can finally rest. Angela passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2026. She is the loving wife of Giuseppe for 65 years. Cherished mother of Silvana (John Febbraro) and Sofia (late Ralph Foggia, Terry Schug). Beloved nonna of Michela Febbraro (Jeff Curran), Remo Febbraro (Danielle Kennedy), Anthony Foggia (Kristen Deluco), Daniella Febbraro (Andrew Palombo) and Emily Foggia (Alex Dumont). For a cherished short time, she enjoyed and treasured her time as a bisnonna to Gio and ‘little peanut’. Daughter of the late Nicola Fabbricino and the late Grazia (nee Cocca). Sister of the late Maria Fabbricino (late Marco), late Pia Cocca (late Lucio), Antonio Fabbricino (Lorenzina) and the late Marco Fabbricino (late Teresa). Daughter-in-law of the late Domenico Spadafora and the late Anna (nee Filice). Sister-in-law of the late Mario (Francesca), late Ada Rovito (late Luigi), Vincenzo (Ilda), Franco (Fiorina) of Sault Ste. Marie, late Silvio (Assunta), late Emelia Perna (late Francesco) and Dora Occhiuto (Aldo) all of Italy. Aunt and great aunt to her many nieces, nephews throughout Canada and Italy. She will be fondly remembered by her many cousins in the United States, Canada and Italy.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Memorial donations to SAH Cancer Care Fund or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
