Obituary of Carol Shepherd

At the Sault Area Hospital early in the morning of Thursday, May 28, 2026, in her 68th year, Carol slipped away peacefully with her children by her side. Predeceased by her husband Mike.  She will be sadly missed by her children Crysta (Ryan), Tiffany (Quentin), and Tricia.  Loved and remembered by her grandchildren Tyler, Alyssa, Chelsey, Nicholas, Victoria, Connor, Emily, Allison, Chase, and Jax and by her nine great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Jack and the late Edna Daynard. Loving sister of Dennis and the late Wendy.  A void will also be felt by her long-time friends Judy and Barb. 

Carol was very proud of her family and was grateful to be a part of the lives of everyone she cared about, always putting others before herself.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Carol’s charity of choice would have been the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH), but a memorial contribution to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
