Obituary of Giuseppe Marasco
It is with deep sadness that the family of Giuseppe announce his peaceful passing with family by his side on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Maria. Loving father of Vincent (Henriette), Vanda and Gina. Much loved Nonno of Samantha Marasco de Man (Lucas). Cherished “Zizi Peppe” of Jesse, Rosie, Vincent, and Elizabeth Armstrong. Predeceased by his parents Vincenzina and Antonio Marasco. Dear brother of Gina Notaro (Antonio) and Ernesto Marasco (Bernadette). Son-in-law of the late Tomasso and the late Natalina Molinaro. Brother-in-law of the late Olga D'Urzo (late Giuseppe) and Silvana Bianchi (Frank). Also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends here and throughout Canada as well as in Italy, Australia, and the USA. Giuseppe will be sadly missed by his four-legged companion, Luigi.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated from St. Gerard Majella Church (211 Pentagon Blvd) at 1:00 p.m. with Father Charles Abiamiri officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to ARCH or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
The Marasco family would like to thank all the medical and nursing staff at SAH 3A and all his caregivers at ARCH for the wonderful care he received and the support they gave the family.
