Obituary of Mary Fill

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary with her family by her side on Monday, June 22, 2026 in her 96^th year.

Mary was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.

Wife of the late Nicholas (2010). Dear mother of Lyle (Barbara), late infant Elaine, Michael (Janice), Greg (Monique), Nick (Avril) and Andrew (Karen). Grandmother of Megan (Bryan), Christopher (Caleigh), Kirsten (Danny), Danek (Kiri), Rodrik, Ashley (Greg), Corinne (Brad), Aaron, Ava, Cameron, Roman and Kalium. Great-grandmother of Landon, Chase and Carter McCarthy; Helena Fill and Fallon Fill. Survived by her sisters Lee Cashman and Roz Rougeau.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all staff on Apple Orchard 3 and Birch Lane 3, who supported and took care of mom during her years of residency at the F.J. Davey Home.

We are so grateful that you made her stay very comfortable and filled her days with respect and kindness.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A family celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
