Obituary of Luisa Mannarino

Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the age of 97 years.  Beloved wife and best friend of the late Vincenzo. Loving mother of Mario (Liz) and Amedeo (Ginger). Proud and loving Nonna of her grandson Vincent and all her step grandchildren. Daughter of the late Gaetano and the late Angela Sicoli.  Daughter-in-law of the late Giuseppe and the late Maria Mannarino. Dear sister of Ida Florio (late Pietro), Francesco Sicoli (Saveria), and predeceased by Rosina Plastino (late Nicola), Francesca Pasqua (late Vincenzo), Vittorio Triestino (Antonia). Dear sister-in-law and predeceased by Nicola Mannarino (late Rita), Michele Mannarino (late Margarita), Teresa Napolitano (late Giuseppe), Vittorio Mannarino (Emma), Elvira Pasqua (late Gennaro), Carmela Console (late Giovanni), Giulia Cicchello (late Francesco), and Pietro Mannarino (Rosaria). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada, Italy and France.

Luisa was born in Aiello Calabro, Cosenza, Italy and came to Canada in 1971 where she created a beautiful life with her husband and their two children.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 12:00 noon until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Father Peter Nwachukwu officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
