Obituary of Marzia Trunzo

TRUNZO, Marzia- Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the F.J. Davey Home on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Mario Trunzo for 54 years. Cherished mother of Frank (Nancy), Tom (Janet), John (Janya), and devoted daughter Lisa (Jay). Loving Nanna to Mario, Zachary, Matthew, Michael, and Nicholas. She will be missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends as well as her favorite little grand doggies, Nunu, Coco, and Bella. Marzia Plastino was born in Cleto, Cosenza, Italy, daughter of the late Fortunato and Angela Plastino. Sister of the late Mario (Clara) of Cleto, and the late Luigi (late Lina) of Sault Ste. Marie. Survived by her brother Vincenzo (Lisa) of Sault Ste. Marie and brother Guerino (Gina) of Toronto. Sister- in- law of Lorenzo Trunzo (late Maria), Luigi Torquato (late Elisa), Giovanni and Franca Trunzo and the late Tomasso Trunzo. Daughter -in- law of the late Francesco and Maria Trunzo. Marzia’s love for her family was like no other, she loved nothing more than having her family together. Her passion was gardening, and her talent for cooking turned her vegetable garden into a treasured supply for incredible soups and sauces. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705 945 7758) on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Memorial donations to F.J. Davey Home Walkway to Health or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
