Obituary of Luisa Scarpino

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the age of 80. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Carlo. Loving mother of Luigi (Fedora), Anna Ryan (Dave), Mario and Pina D'Agostino (Aldo). Cherished nonna of Luisa Sophia, Michelle, Michael and Patrick Ryan, Luisa and Carlo Jr., Daniel and Emily Rose and Mia D'Agostino. Great nonna of Cassandra, Thomas and Michael. Predeceased by her parents Florindo and Marietta (Crocco) Aquino. Fondly remembered by her brothers and sister the late Filiberto Aquino (late Amalia) of Italy, Franco Aquino (Franca) of New York and late Giuseppina Fera (Angelo). Luisa will be missed by her Cogina, Gina Aceti who was by her side along her journey as well as her best friend Suzi Pisani. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory's Church on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. Ghosh, Dr. Almehadi, nurses and staff in ICU at SAH.
