Obituary of Antonio Maione

God has called in a strong, generous, loving man to be reunited with his soulmate and life-long partner on Monday, June 5, 2017 in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of the late Luisa for 67 years.  Loving father of Frank (Phyllis), Joe (Donna) Angelo (Gina) and Mario (Sue).  Loving Nonno of Lisa (Manuel), Tony (Ashley) Oshawa, ON, John (Nicole), Michael, Tony (Aimee) Edmonton, Joey (Shelby), Stefanie, Niki (Quentin), Christina (Chris), Jessica, Nicholas, Mark, Nicole, Karina, Michael, and Daniel.  Great-Nonno of seventeen and Great-great-Nonno of two.  Son of the late Francesco and Carmela Maione.  Brother of the late Natale, late Alberto, Rosanna, late Angelina and the late Eugenio. Son-in-law of the late Carmella and Francesco Bruni.  Brother-in-law of the late Raffaele (late Assunta), late Nella (late Vincenzo) and Mafalda (Pasquale). Antonio will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family and his ever-giving heart.  Antonio was a very strong leader and the center of the family, he led through example persevering and overcoming hardships.  He was very well respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Donations will be accepted for the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
