Obituary of Marian Johnson

JOHNSON, Marian - On Sunday, September 19, 2010 another bright star was received in Heaven. It is with a great deal of sadness that the family of Marian announces her peaceful passing. Marian was predeceased by her husband Harry S. Johnson (Dec. 7, 2004). Loving mother to Lynne Murphy (Tim) of Barrie, Carol Ross (John) and Tom Johnson (Kumiko) of Barrie. Dear Ammy to Catie Sirie (Chris) of Niagara Falls, Jennifer Ross of Toronto, Joshua and Noah Johnson of Barrie. Great Ammy to Benjamin Sirie. Sister and best friend of Vivian Rhodes (late John), Mae Tarter (Bill) Wyomissing, PA, Hank Shook (Irene) and Gerald Shook (Monique). Predeceased by her brothers William, Herb (Vi) and Wayne. Devoted friend of Stu Harris. Marian leaves behind to mourn many nieces and nephews. As per Marian's wishes a Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church (712 Wellington Street East) on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Phil Miller officiating. Interment of ashes at the Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations to Ontario Heart & Stroke or St. Andrew's United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
