Obituary of Giulio Minelli

MINELLI, Giulio - It is with heavy hearts we are sad to announce the passing of Giulio Minelli on Monday, May 23, 2011. Born August 26, 1931 in his beloved Cereto, Italy. Beloved husband and best friend of Giuseppina (nee Gargamelli). Much devoted and caring father "Babbo" of Agostina Patterson (Stephen). Much cherished Nonno of Genna and Alissa Patterson. Son of the late Agostino & Crocefisa Minelli. Brother of Dario (Rosanna) of Fano, Italy, Lorenzo of Cagli, Italy and pre-deceased by Marco (late Rina), Rina Cenciarini (late Renato) of Pisaro, Italy, Gabriele (Rosa) of Cagli, Italy and Desiderio of Cereto, Italy. Son-in-law of the late Adolfo and Ersilia Gargamelli of Mombaraccio, Italy. Brother-in-law of the late Dino Gagamelli (Ada) of Pesaro, Italy. Giulio will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Siro (Julie), Sandro (Adeline), Giuliano (Cecilia), Ido (Bruna), Mario (Stefania), Lisa and Agostino. Giulio will also be sadly missed by his very good friends Fernando and Santina Attoni, Domenic and Iliana Attoni and Venerina Salucci (late Elso). Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Gerard Majella Church on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A kind and gentle nonno, always smiling, who loved tending his garden, making homemade wine and sausage, taking daily walks and most of all spending time with his good friends and family.
