Obituary of Paul Syrette

Syrette, Paul It is with heavy hearts we remember and celebrate the life of Paul "Lou" Syrette. The man who had a language of his own, a presence that could fill the room and an even bigger heart. Paul's humour, charm and good looks will be carried on by his daughters Chessa (Andy), Alex (Trevor), Naomi (Ian) and Katie Jane. Loving son of the late Louis and Kathleen Syrette. Brother of Dianne (Harry) Jones, Tim (Darlene) Syrette, Edward Syrette, Mickey (Jay) Syrette, Charlotte (Darren) Zack, Elaine McDonagh, late Susan (Doug) McCabe, Colleen (Orville) McCabe and the late Marcel Syrette. Special best friend and brother of Ron Fisher, Godfather and special Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Garden River Community Centre from Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 6 pm until the Funeral Mass held in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (Garden River) on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11 am, Father Jean-Pierre Couillard officiating. Paul will be laid to rest in the Garden River Catholic Cemetery where he will be able to forever enjoy his love of nature and the outdoors. We will remember Paul through his stories and smile when we share them. Special thanks to all who provided love, care, assistance and support for Paul throughout his illness. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
