Obituary of June Opala

After embracing life and all of its challenges, on Friday, October 7th at the age of 78, June was called home to be with her mom, dad and brother. Devoted wife, best friend and soulmate to John. Beloved mother to Danny McGrath (RoseMary), Andy McGrath, Patti Favot (Cecil Mah) and Mary-Kay Antonello (Joe). Special grandma to Patti-Jo (Aaron), Phillip, Melissa (Andrew), Christopher (Danica), Megan, Connor, Blake, Don (Pam) and Tom (Erin). Great-grandmother to Mia and Brady. Loving sister to Madeline Wray and the late Victor Larocque. June will be lovingly remembered by the McGrath and Opala families, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She loved life and lived for her grandchildren and her furry friend Bella. In keeping with June's wishes, a private service was held. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to extend their appreciation to Jennifer Hendrie (R.N.) from the Group Health Centre and to Trudy, Bridie and Millie (CCAC) for taking such good care of our wife and mother.
