Obituary of Auguste Mahler

With sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother and best friend, Auguste Helene Mahler on October 21, 2011 just 3 days short of her 98th birthday. Ute as our 'Mutti' was familiarly known to most people was born in Essen, Germany on October 24th, 1913. She emigrated to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and set up home in Goulais River in 1953 with her late husband Wolfgang. Dearest mother of Norbert (Elizabeth) and Idis (John). Cherished Oma of Jamie, Catherine (Darcy), the late Aaron (1979), Janet and Ian (Cynthia). Loving Great Oma of Christian, Rhys, Heidi and Nora-Jane. After 48 years, the two loves, 'Ütchen' and Wolf are together again in eternal life with everlasting love and peace. Out of the three gifts of faith, hope and love, the greatest of them all is love. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 10 a.m. until time of Ute's 'Celebration of Life' in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
