After a lengthy illness, Ottavio Fata died peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 62 years to Concetta. Loving father of Rose Lamantea (Bruno), Frank Fata (Maureen), and Nancy Barbuto (Domenic). Father-in-law of the late Eugene Buffone. Cherished Nonno of Anthony Buffone (Natalie), Mark Buffone (Meaghan), Mafalda Laliberte (Dave), Jeremy and Lukas Fata, Danielle (Danny Czop), Elizabeth Pileggi (Joe) and Jessica Murray (Patrick). Great-Nonno of Sebastian and Talia Buffone, Colton Laliberte, Milo Buffone, Leah and Madelyn Czop, Alyssa and Brianna Pileggi. Ottavio was the son of the late Geniale and Rosina Fata. Predeceased by his brothers Bruno (Adelina), Eugenio (Rosaria), Settimio and his sister Anna De Angelis (Francesco). Caring brother of Antonio Fata (Maria) and Maria Coccimiglio (Antonio) of Edmonton, Alberta. Brother-in-law of Maria Alfano (Antonio) of Italy, and the late Guiseppe Brunetti (Isabella), Giovanni Brunetti (Rosaria) and Rosaria Gardino (Antonio). Special uncle to many nieces and nephews.
